Jaleel Fowler is wanted for allegedly shooting and injuring a juvenile inside the Georgia Avenue-Petworth Metro Station on Friday, Dec. 8 in Northwest DC.

Officials say that Fowler is wanted for assault with a dangerous weapon following the shooting, which sent the teen to the hospital for treatment and evaluation of non-life-threatening injuries after he was reportedly struck in the body.

It is alleged that on the afternoon of the shooting, the minor was approached by Fowler who was brandishing a handgun during an apparent robbery.

During the investigation, Fowler, who is said to be considered armed and dangerous by the US Marshals Service, was identified as the suspect in the shooting.

Now investigators are seeking the public's assistance in tracking the wanted man down.

On Thursday, the US Marshals Service announced that they would be adding an additional $10,000 reward to the $1,000 pledged by Crime Solvers of DC for information that leads to Fowler's arrest.

Anyone with information regarding Fowler or his whereabouts has been asked to call 1-844-MTPDTIP (687-3847) or emailing mtpdtips1@wmata.com.
